The Haider star is happily married to Mira Rajput, and together they parent their delightful children, Misha and Jain. In a recent discussion, the Jab We Met actor disclosed the transformative impact of fatherhood, particularly in helping him break the habit of smoking. Speaking on the podcast No Filter Neha, the 42-year-old shared insights into his decision to quit smoking. He revealed that the motivation behind this choice stemmed from the desire to shield his daughter, Misha, as he used to conceal his smoking habit from her, ultimately leading to his decision to give up the habit. Sharing further insights, the Bollywood star said "When I used to smoke, I would hide from my daughter and smoke. That is actually the reason I gave it up; one day, while I was hiding and having my smoke, I told myself that I was not going to do this forever. And that is the day I decided to quit smoking."




Immediately following the birth of Misha, the Farzi star participated in an interview with Hindustan Times, addressing the transformative impact of fatherhood. When asked about the changes, the heartthrob of Bollywood provided an insightful response. He noted that before becoming a father, he would often feel bored at home, engaging in various activities such as going to the gym and watching movies. However, after the arrival of the little one, he found contentment in spending extended periods at home, highlighting a shift in priorities and a deeper connection with his family.
